MEKA AVOCAT was founded in 2014 in Old Montréal with a simple conviction: entrepreneurs deserve a legal advisor who speaks their language. The language of business.
From the very beginning, the firm bet on modernity. Remote consultations, electronic signatures, online payments, paperless files whenever the client prefers. What was bold in 2014 has become our natural way of practising, and it lets us focus our energy where it matters most: your file.
Over the years, our practice has refocused on what we do best: business law in the broad sense, business transactions, the litigation that flows from them and business immigration. A focused practice, for expertise we fully stand behind.

The founder
The firm was founded by Mtre Abdelkrim Kebache, lawyer and businessman. His dual background in law and business shapes the identity of the firm: every file is approached both as a legal question and as a business decision.
An entrepreneur himself, he knows first-hand the realities of those he advises: building, negotiating, taking calculated risks and protecting what has been built. That perspective is what sets the advice offered at MEKA AVOCAT apart.

MEKA AVOCAT was founded in 2014 by Me Abdelkrim Kebache, a member of the Barreau du Québec since that year. The firm is based in Old Montréal.
Four areas: business and corporate law, business succession and transfers, civil and commercial litigation, and business immigration. The firm deliberately sits at the crossing of business law and immigration, a rare combination that lets us carry both streams of the same project.
The firm created Labo Legal to handle at a posted price the steps whose content does not vary from one client to the next: incorporation, registers, annual declarations. MEKA AVOCAT keeps the mandates that require weighing options, negotiating or designing something bespoke. Two offerings, one lawyer responsible.
The office is in Old Montréal, but the firm acts throughout Quebec and, in matters of federal jurisdiction, elsewhere in Canada. Files outside the Montreal area are usually run by videoconference and secure document exchange, with travel where a hearing or a closing requires it.
